We went off to Adlington to do Show Jumping on 4th November and it went really well! It was really cold and busy but it was fun all the same. We both enjoyed the change from staying with all four feet firmly on the ground, and we did a nice easy course that was little and not too scary. Dolseys stable buddy 'Kat' came with us too, I think Dolsey enjoyed having somebody to talk to all day! Kat was very, very fast, in fact a bit too fast and so missed out a jump in the Beginners jumping, which was a shame. Dolsey took it more steady and managed to go clear and so got into the jump-off, where she went clear again. We managed to get 5th which was great!!
We didn't do any other classes as we thought she had done very well, so went home happy, especially about getting to do a (very hyper!) lap of honour to the Horse Of The Year Show theme tune!
We don't have any more shows until the New Year, as there aren't any on that we can do, but we are looking forward to a Christmas Ride with some showing friends on the 22nd of December. Post and Pictures will follow on from that!
