CHAPS Championships 2007!

I had an absolutely fab time! It was brilliant - so well organised and the rosettes were amazing. If anyone can go, make sure you do - it's great We went on the Friday with Dol, got 9th in the dressage with one point from 8th, so one place off the evening performance. Ah well, there were 23 in it and her eyes were on stalks throughout the whole test, one comment from the judge was 'test just spoiled by lack of attention'

We were going to enter the restricted showing class but it clashed with the dressage, so I wanted to do a showing class which ended up being family pony! We won it and so went into the evening performance which was really good, though I think my sisters enjoyed themselves a little bit tooo much with the glitter spray....(Dolsey resembled a Christmas tree).

After the championship, Dolsey went home and my sister, friend and I stayed to watch for the weekend. We met loads of people which was great, we were very well entertained and it was really well organised. Definitely one to do again! Dolsey was really good, especially as she had never done an evening performance before and didn't bat an eyelid at the clapping or anything.
