Pump House Riding Club 08.02.2009

As a new years resolution I have decided to update my blog more often! So this year after every show I WILL UPDATE MY BLOG!
Anyhow, this was the first show of 2009 with Dolsey. I wanted to go because I had gotten a whole new showing outfit for my birthday and really wanted to wear it, and as Alsager is close to us we decided to go for an outing. Although when preparing the day before, washing Dolsey in the freezing cold weather with buckets of hot water, I did wonder whether I really wanted to go or not.
It was very quiet when we arrived at the showground. Typically though, most people appeared for the classes I was doing!
In the first class Dolsey was a very good girl and did a foot perfect show, did a great extension and so won the class, the cob (hogged or hairy) class. A short wait after that and we had the coloured class. Again it seemed that most people on the showground owned a coloured pony! Dolsey was a star again and won that too.
We didn't stay for the championship as we decided that as she had been so good we would just go home. This must be a record for us as normally we are waiting around for hours on end for our class, as it is usually the last class of the day. However, we were back home for 2 o'clock!
